HomeSphere Named a Top 50 Construction Tech Company
July 10, 2018
HomeSphere is honored to be included on the 2018 Constructech 50 list, a ranking of the top 50 most influential construction tech companies.
After months of scrutiny, Constructech magazine determined its top 50 rankings by consulting professors, industry advisors and chief information officers. Evaluation criteria included technology transformation, company culture, future vision, employee dynamics and more. Top companies had to be well-rounded, diverse in their product offerings, and have a proven history of excellence.
What did Constructech Magazine say?
HomeSphere made the list by continuing to innovate the way residential builders and product manufacturers connect. According to Constructech’s award profile for HomeSphere:
HomeSphere continues to be the leading digital marketplace connecting major building product manufacturers and local builders. The company’s vision and focus will ultimately help the industry as well as homebuilders gain deeper insights into products and find the right products and materials—all while earning incentives and developing relationships with building product manufacturers.
HomeSphere's Construction Technology
With over 2,300 builders constructing more homes than the top 12 national builders combined, HomeSphere has created a unique ecosystem that benefits both builders and product manufacturers.
Single-family and multi-family builders of all sizes use My HomeSphere™, an online rebate management platform, to claim manufacturer rebates, track projects, and discover new building products.
At the same time, building product manufacturers analyze the information collected from builder incentives to better understand market performance with HomeSphere-IQ™, a builder discovery and analytics platform released in March. With HomeSphere-IQ, manufacturers receive builder channel information that allows the entire enterprise—including sales, marketing, and operations departments—to analyze data from the rebate programs.
By integrating the data and information from My HomeSphere with HomeSphere-IQ, the results have been industry changing in the way that builders and manufacturers alike grow their business while serving each other. According to Constructech:
With this data in hand, both builders and manufacturers will be able to plan more effectively using product usage data—the result is builders and manufacturers can better track and manage earned incentives and analyze earnings down to the home address or subdivision level to evaluate where they might be missing out on additional savings.
More Than Just Construction Technology
However, one should remember that HomeSphere’s success is built on relationships as much as it is built on technology. The company has steadily recruited regional market specialists in every major U.S. construction market since the company’s founding 18 years ago. These in-market experts forge relationships with HomeSphere’s community of builders, manufacturers, distributors and trades to help all parties connect and do business.
Going forward, HomeSphere will continue to digitize the U.S. home inventory while simplifying the way builders and manufacturers work together through innovative technology, unique programs and in-market expertise.
