We needed an expert who could step in and immediately move at our rapid pace!
HomeSphere has named Jeff Olin its new Vice President of Technology, effective immediately.
With more than thirty years of experience in software development and technology infrastructure and operations, Olin will direct HomeSphere’s aggressive development schedule. The company is moving quickly toward its goal of changing the way product data is used in the modern construction industry. Early in the first quarter, HomeSphere released HomeSphere-IQ™, a platform designed for building product manufacturers that puts essential product and builder data in the hands of sales, marketing and operations departments. Last week it launched an enhancement to the platform, adding a new layer of intelligence to its lead generation service, LEADPLUS.
“We needed an expert who could step in and immediately move at our rapid pace,” said HomeSphere CEO Glenn Renner. “Jeff is a highly experienced software development leader who has built, maintained and redesigned systems used by large institutions as well as nimble SaaS companies. His experience will play a vital role in the rollout of our vision to build a world-class technology foundation that changes the way the industry sector uses product data.”
Jeff Olin's Experience
Prior to joining HomeSphere, Olin spent six years as Director of Product Development at IBM/Truven Health Analytics (formerly Thomson Reuters Healthcare), where he directed the product development of a web application framework that underpins healthcare applications that produce revenue of over $150 million. He has an extensive leadership background spanning multiple functions, starting his career in the technical and engineering departments at IBM and AT&T. From there, he moved to director of software engineering for The Magellan Network, where he opened a Denver office, and then developed a Software-as-a-Service solution for colleges and universities while Vice President of Software Engineering at TopSchool.
Olin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in math and computer science from Indiana University, graduating as a Phi Beta Kappa, and a Master of Science degree in computer engineering from the University of Michigan. He lives in the Denver area with his wife.
