The Top 10 Most Noteworthy Experiences at IBS/KBIS 2025
March 18, 2025

HomeSphere was very excited to attend NAHB International Builder Show / KBIS 2025 where we met with both our existing builders and also introduced new builders to our program. So many of our manufacturer partners exhibited or were otherwise present at this year's conference in Las Vegas. HomeSphere also reached out to our builders attending the show to help facilitate meetings with our manufacturers there.
Most likely you've heard the slogan: "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas," however, we noticed at IBS/KBIS 2025 that conversations that happened at the Vegas Convention Center will definitely go beyond Vegas — as valuable relationships were formed between builders and manufacturers. We'd like to share our top 10 most memorable moments at this show with an emphasis on the relationships between our manufacturers and builders.
Our top 10 most noteworthy experiences at 2025 IBS/KBIS:
10: Vicwest showing off its growing U.S. team at the big show of 81,000+ building professionals.
Vicwest Metal Roofing and Siding, who joined HomeSphere in 2024 engaged in so many terrific conversations with builders and contractors at their booth. The Vicwest U.S. team is rapidly growing and we were impressed not only by the team, but also their spectacular booth.
Vicwest is passionate about building durable and sustainable products and producing them in the most environmentally responsible way. Inspired by nature, Vicwest engineers their True Nature line of metal roof shingles to replicate the look of slate, shake or barrel tiles. Their Bellara Siding and Soffit is installed using a hidden fastening system and creates clean architectural lines and lock in the natural look of wood.
9: From the Halifax to their Halo Select and beyond, Kwikset showcased their new products.
Kwikset, the leading residential lock manufacturer since 1946, continuously offers innovative products to our HomeSphere builders. This year, their new Halo Select™ Wi-Fi and Matter Enabled Smart Lock, and Prava™ Lever and Handlesets with diamond knurling offering tactile luxury were prominently featured in their show area. Check out these conversation starters with our builders and other Kwikset rebate-eligible products for HomeSphere builders.
8: The future will stop for no one. As we shift towards whole home electricification, Leviton is leading the charge.
Bob Becker, chief operating officer at Leviton, shared his insights on how whole home electrification is becoming the new standard of modern home design. He led a thought leadership session at IBS and also posted an article on LinkedIn about this transformative shift. Bob discussed how Leviton is leading the charge toward a more sustainable and efficient future for housing. He also commented on how the conversations and innovations presented at IBS 2025 all signal that the electric home is definitely not just a trend.
Leviton's rebate-eligible products for our builders include load centers, lighting controls, baffle slim downlights, Whole Home Leviton, electric vehicle charging stations and integrated smart home solutions.
7: Progress Lighting recognized for its commitment to an incredible cause.
Homes for Our Troops honored Progress Lighting with a very special award handcrafted by a veteran that commemorates 10 years of partnership and ongoing support for their mission. Home for Our Troops is dedicated to building and donating specially-adapted custom homes for severely injured post-9/11 veterans, helping them to regain independence and rebuild their lives. We would like to extend our hearty congratulations to Progress Lighting for receiving this distinguished award.
Progress Lighting is HomeSphere's preferred lighting partner and has residential lighting covered with decorative, functional and outdoor lighting, including ceiling fans.
6: LiftMaster impressed builders with myQ® branded lattes and products.
Builders flocked to LiftMaster's booth for morning snacks and lattes decorated with myQ-branded foam.
The well-attended event, co-sponsored by both LiftMaster and HomeSphere, provided the opportunity for builders to learn more about HomeSphere and also LiftMaster rebate-elible products, including garage door openers, entrance and access control and gate operator solutions for HomeSphere builders.
5: Cambria's four new breathtaking designs were the talk of KBIS.
Cambria's booth at KBIS was visually stunning with a remarkable kitchen installation and a inspirational floral texture feature wall. A specially-designed voting area focused attention on four new Cambria designs: Remington Brass, Remington Steel, Berkshire Steel Satin Ridge and Brighton — all of which incorporate spectacular metallic veining.
Cambria boasts endless possibilities for its beautiful quartz surfaces, included but certainly not limited to, kitchen and bathroom countertops, bar areas, and also shower and fireplace features and surrounds.
4: Builders spoke about two great Georgia-Pacific Building Products while grabbing a cold brewski.
HomeSphere builders met with Adam Hermansen, director of field sales for Georgia-Pacific Building Products and also Joe Kuzemchak, regional channel manager, Georgia-Pacific Gypsum (DensShield), at the always popular booth. HomeSphere builders also were VIPs at a happy hour with beer, co-sponsored by Georgia-Pacific and HomeSphere.
Great conversations took place about ForceField® Weather Barrier System, an integrated WRB sheathing system for walls and sloped roofs that helps dry structures faster than traditional housewrap, and DensShield® Tile Backer, for floor and ceiling applications in high-moisture areas (recently launched on the HomeSphere rebate program).

And now the top three HomeSphere experiences...
3: Lennox, a long-time partner, was a finalist for a Best of IBS Award.
It is no surprise to us that Lennox was a finalist for a Best of IBS 2025 - Best Energy Efficient Product. One of their latest inventions, a cold climate heat pump called the Dave Lennox Signature® Collection SL22KLV Cold Climate Heat Pump, swept up one of the finalists slots for IBS 2025. Congratulations, Lennox, and well done!
Lennox’s innovative solutions on the HomeSphere program include energy-efficient air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, comfort controls and indoor air quality systems. They make the air cooler, warmer, dryer, cleaner and better, with innovative systems that are exceptionally quiet and energy efficient. Lennox HVAC systems prioritize safety with features like flame rollout protection, high-temperature limit switches, and in some cases, refrigerant detection systems, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
2: Home Depot Pro and their very cool black truck.
After 16 years without a dedicated booth at IBS, this year, The Home Depot's booth was highly impressive and they came with that cool black truck. Maybe this truck underscored that with Home Pro, Home Depot delivers directly to job sites? They also offer pick-up at any Home Depot location quickly and conveniently. In addition, The Home Depot highlighted special new services for home building professionals and contractors within its booth.
Builders and contractors gain access to easy savings opportunties by enrolling in the Pro Xtra™ loyalty program. HomeSphere builders and contractors can earn even more — with cash back through HomeSphere — when applying the HomeSphere code and credit card to their Pro Xtra account. Take advantage of Pro Xtra and HomeSphere through this nationwide partnership with purchases made in store and at HomeDepot.com.
Pro tip for builders: Be sure to ask us about our "twice is nice brands" like Behr Paint, that are eligible for cash back through Pro Xtra and, then again, when builders submit their closings for a rebate.
And... the #1 HomeSphere Experience at IBS/KBIS 2025:
Working better together with Sonos and connecting with builders (old, new and prospective) at the Sonos booth.
Sonos, one of our newest partners, worked with Dave Delles, HomeSphere's southwest regional market specialist, by their side and spread the word about our free builder program. The Sonos team was able to demo their products and then send builders over to Dave, who educated them on Sonos' builder loyalty program and the 80+ other brands that HomeSphere supports.
We're so thankful to Sonos for this awesome opportunity to be in their booth and for co-sponsoring a happy hour with us.
Renowned for incredible sound, ease of use and commitment to innovation, Sonos speakers bring every room and everyone together with incredible sound for music, TV and more. As the premier audio solution for builders, Sonos takes a smart home offering to the next level, enabling builders to offer their homeowners the simplicity of installation prior to move in.
With a 2025 show this successful, we can hardly wait to go to Orlando in 2026!
