Designed and manufactured with a built-in moisture barrier coating, DensShield® Tile Backer eliminates the need for an additional moisture barrier (as necessary with cement and fiber cement board) which can save you extra steps and time in wet areas.
Lightweight and Timesaving
It is lighter than the leading cement board brands (based on 1/2” [12.7 mm] comparison). Cuts easily with a standard utility knife and doesn’t require special fasteners. See the DensShield® Installation Guide for more details.
Multiple Sizes for Multiple Applications
DensShield® Tile Backer's moisture resistance makes it a great solution for kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and mud rooms in residential buildings.
Available in 1/4" thickness, 4'x4' panel and 1/2" thickness, 32"x5' or 4'x 8'panel.
