How to Enable Location Permissions for HomeCapture
If you did not grant permission for HomeCapture to use your device's location when prompted, you will see the following error: Location Disabled - HomeCapture needs access to your phone’s location so we can automatically find the address where you're capturing products in this home. If you’d like to use this feature, please go to your phone’s settings, select HomeCapture, and then enable the location option.
Take the steps below to allow HomeCapture to use your mobile device's location.
For iOS Devices:
- Tap on the Settings icon on your home screen
- In the Settings menu, scroll down and select Privacy
- Within the Privacy menu, find and tap on Location Services
- You will see a list of apps that have requested access to your location. Find HomeCapture.
- Tap on HomeCapture and then select either While Using the App or Always to grant location access.
For Android Devices:
- Pull down the notification shade from the top of the screen and tap the gear icon or find Settings in the app drawer
- Tap on Apps & Notifications: This may be named slightly differently depending on your Android version
- Find the app you want to enable location access for and tap on it
- Inside the app’s info, select Permissions
- Tap on Location and then choose Allow to give the app permission to use the camera
